It might be book II in the series, but you can start the series from here as the first book is only available in paperback (there is a story-so-far at the beginning or if you’ve read the Lady Elfrida books you’ll be at the same place in time).

Awesome! Though I do have question; are there any plans to release the updated edition of the first book on kindle?

Unfortunately not any time soon as I don’t have the rights to it at the moment. You don’t need to have read book 1. There’s a ‘story so far’ at the beginning or if you’ve read Once A Queen, you’ll be at about the same year. 👍
